Declutter Your Home to Simplify Your Life – Here is How You Do It!

The idea, “declutter your home” – can bring up the same feelings as “Get A Root Canal” – something you would rather avoid and put off. However, we get to the point that it is something that we must do because it has become so uncomfortable to live with.

I have found that the hardest part of a home declutter is really getting started. The task can seem so overwhelming that knowing where to start can be the problem.

Find the one place in your home that “bugs” you most often. The place that makes you uncomfortable to enter the most often because you need to use that space daily. Your basement or attic may be a problem – but do you use them every day.

How to Pick a declutter Starting Point:

* Is Your Bedroom a clutter mess? It is the last place you see before you go to sleep and the first place you see when you wake up. Would decluttering this first – make you feel better?
* Is your Family or Living Room a clutter mess? This is where your family gathers to watch TV, you entertain guests, and just try to relax. Would decluttering this room first – make you feel more relaxed and let everyone enjoy the space better?
* Is your Garage or Carport a clutter mess? This is the place you should be able to park your car and keep it and you out of the elements. Would decluttering there first allow you to use this space daily and make coming home more stree free?

There is really no right place to Start a home declutter – You just want to pick the one place that would make you feel better about your home instantly – When it is decluttered. This will give you more of an “instant gratification” boost that will help you stay motivated to declutter the rest!

When you are able to get that first spot decluttered – It will make a big difference! You will know that decluttering is not as hard as you imaginedand the rewards are so worth it… There are some easy home declutter tips available to help you get started.
